i just watched the 3rd video. is it better to place the crotch plate 1st in the locking mechanism rather than locking the waist band first?

Good grief, the lady in the third video made hard work over putting the belt on!!

It's best to get the back of the buckle, secure the waist, or hip bands, wiggle the band to make sure it's positioned correctly ( especially if the band is on hips. If you lock the belt in place when it's not sitting perfectly, it hurts the hip bones and the wire is too loose. If the hip band is to high up the wire really hurts the coccyx). So correct positioning is crucial. Then pull up the crotch band, front of the buckle on and you're done.

Of course if you get the positioning wrong, the belt will gradually adjust itself to the right spot but that involves a day or two of discomfort. I prefer not to have to let the belt correct my error

I would say it takes about 15 seconds to put the belt on and locked.

MMMM i wonder if its in a record book any where?.If not it soon could be Kelly ?? UNLESS of course there are other contenders

Good point. I have never tried securing the crotch plate first. I will try and let you know......

I do not think you need to try it out Kellymac.
It must be better to first put together the waistband and make sure it's right, before place the crotch part in the locking mechanism.
