Neoprene? Silicone? LIners

Is there ANYWAY apart from having to glue with messy horrible silicone glue/instant gasket of STOPPING the liner coming off the edges of my belt (the slotted area) it is driving me scatty,EVERY damn time, no matter how careful I am it ALWAYS comes of the edges in that area,no matter how tight my belt is.I have tried just about everything apart from gluing,I am using rubber bands to TRY and keep it in place, it helps a little. This is soooooooooooooooo frustrating!!
I can walk about 10 feet if I am lucky before it comes off.SLOTTED AREA.

Well except gluing with silicone (Pyra has posted a nice guide about doing this), I can't see an effective solution (weird idea that coming as I type this reply: some sort of metal plate that clamps the liner ? but how to fix this plate on the belt itself ? By welding it ? Not easy and not very nice...).

That's why we discussed in another topic, the possibility of using metal rolled edge instead of silicon liner...

viewtopic.php?f=20&t=178&p=1232#p1223

The question that remains unanswered is whether wearing the metal next to the skin is as comfortable as a silicon/neoprene liner ? And this process seem to me apply to the design of new belts and not modifying existing belts.

So I think the silicone glue is soon to be your new friend ...

Neosteel make belts in two layers I believe, thick stainless for rigidity then a second layer of thin stainless as the inner surface with its edge rolled/fla nged out away from the body, Called the masterpiece? I believe, No Rubber or silicon to stick back on or fall off.
Perhaps Lizza and Pyra and Dashing Darla can work out and mass produce a thinner than the curren Chinese belts an inner layer kit that can be rolled into place with basic tools
Thoughts? comments plus points bad points I think it is do able assuming you all have same base belt and are all the same size ????????????? :D ..............

CAUTION

stainless steel is an alloy, comprised of Ni and Cr (nickel and chromium)
Ni is harmful , it ends up in your kidneys.Contact with stainless................is also contact with Ni it can and does get into your body via physical contact.Hence the need for a liner.

Thank you Lizza for that warning,
I understand that Tollyboy belts are made with medical grade stainless but I have never done any research on the actual composition.
Should I ever have the funds and the nerve to buy a different belt, Neo/carrerra or Lovely Latowski I will heed your warnings
Thanks again S. :)

Ooooooooooooooooo i just realized something!
You speak of rolled edges,do you realize that by doing that.................you are making effectively an UNCUTTABLE belt? Why? because it will DOUBLE the thickness on each and every edge if you know what I mean.
You just created permanent chastity or pretty damn near it.

Pthbbt! on Ni in stainless steel. Nickel in stainless steel is bound up in the metal crystal matrix, not going to harm you there. UNLESS you have nickel allergy. Unless you have nickel allergy, stainless against skin poses no issues.

As for being permanent chastity...isn't that what most fantasy chastity belt wannabees desire? To be impossibly locked forever and ever in X-TREME chastity?

You may be on something there. Just wondering when you plan to share it... :D

sorry gorgon i think you are wrong on this occasion.
Ni IS a problem in and on the human body, read those links.
Thats why they are now using titanium implants,Ni is a hazard regardless of allergies.

I may be onto something, like what?

Share? keh? I have nothing to share O wise one!

Neither of these two links proves your point that wearing stainless steel against the body is harmful, Lizza. In fact, the Wiki link you posted states that austenitic is used for implants. Were it poisonous to the body, it would not be used in that way.

And the Wiki link is unsourced, hardly a proof for anything. Take Wiki at full face value if you wish, I do not.

Asgard Engineering also says nothing to support your assertion that stainless is bad, either. In fact, it says pretty much nothing, so these two links you posted are not pertinent to your argument.

The only people who suffer from Ni content in stainless steel are those with an allergy to it. Period. I am not wrong in this. If a person has nickel allergies, then wearing stainless is not going to go well for them.

I can wear stainless against my body indefinitely with no ill effects. I wear stainless steel post earrings 100% of the time, no probs. I wear stainless steel nipple rings 100% 24/7/365 and no ill effects. Why would a chastity belt be different? Simple: it wouldn't.

Those who have allergies to stainless steel/ nickel ought to invest in titanium, or keep their belts lined, or find a different hobby other than chastity and other bondage play with metals. It really is just that simple. ;)
