The liner will not hold more than a few months and it's hard to get a new one. Therefore it´s always a better option to order a measure customized belt from My-Steel or Neosteel.
Now you have 2 businesses.....Tobbebelts and service repair kits!

Three!
Even a more well-paid job, that is not as inspiring as getting women to wear belts.

Personally I'm glad I didn't do that because the measurements I took weren't close to what she's ended up wearing. Without an experienced person to do the fitting I don't think custom not very adjustable cb's are a terribly realistic option.

The problem is that all our belts are "hardline" belts. The stainless steel is rigid and pretty much inflexible (if it is a dished front shield). Waistbands can be bent, sometimes unintentionally while being worn! Because it is rigid, weight gains becomes painful and weight loss makes for a belt that becomes too loose and chafes. (or the front shield can be pulled far enough away to get under) And if your belt is not perfectly bent to fit all the curves and bony places, it becomes unendurably painful, leaving sores or blisters.
That is the source of these problems, Gotsteel.

@ Ntysecrets;
Heya hon! LTNS since fetlife...
Anyways...yeah, those liners are tough to mount permanently. Because of that is why I am a pure adherent to rolled metal edges and avoiding all glue on liners and edgings.
I have not found a 100% reliable way of mounting that silicone material to stainless steel. I have found some techniques which kinda sorta hold it on, but the right pull or snag can cause the gluing agent to release bond from surface. *sighs*
One technique I was thinking of doing was to take a VERY SHARP and modified cape chisel to force into the stainless steel little teeth, burrs that angle upward at the outer edge of the metal. Then those can "bite" into the silicone material...the burrs or teeth must be small or they could puncture through the silicone edging and scratch your skin. Of course, silicone adhesive caulk it in place also.
Past that, I just don't know. Something My-Steel and NeoSteel and Tollyboy all use a heat shrink hard polymer plasticized rubber to crimp the beginnings and endings of the edging material. The reason for this is that the end of the edging is the most vulnerable to peel back and then it just runs from there. So try that fix also. Re-glue your liner/ edging, THEN try some heat shrink tubing on the ends.
Let me know how that turns out for you.

thanks.. I've thought the same about the heat shrink tubing but have been unable to find a diameter large enough to slip over the exposed ends with the front being the most problematic.

Finally attempted to reattach the liner on my belt. Hopefully gorilla glue epoxy will do the trick!

How's the Gorilla glue working out so far?

i havent attempted to wear since regluing the liner. Also havent found the heatshrink tubing needed to secure the ends.

Hello,
For your heat shrink tube may be you could have a look to Amazon:

What is the size of the metal band ?
