Female chastity piercings for 24/7/365 wear?

I was wondering who here has experience with female chastity piercings for long-term wear.
Can they safely and comfortably be worn long-term? Would you accept getting genitally pierced? Would your husband wholeheartedly support your decision to get genitally pierced? Any thoughts on this?

I've heard some about this. Basically, the piercings get irritated pretty easily and often times are rejected by the body. Some piercings really aren't meant to last, and from what I've heard those don't.

I'm not against pictures of chastity shields or of any other chastity device that goes with a piercing, but do we really need to show a picture of it being worn?

I haven't had sex in months, so I'm a little sensitive to these kinds of pictures. Seeing that this is a chastity site, which means that there my be others in a similar situation as mine, I think it would just be helpful to not include such graphic pictures (whether in a post or an avatar), as beautiful as they may be.
