Fair enough, though this section of the website is called "Female chastity belt building/modification", and that's why I joined. I've made a lot of belts over the years out of different materials (leather, canvas, mild steel, aluminum, even carbon fiber) and I've never gotten the patterns right and ended up with chafe and pinch spots. This is why I'm so interested in Pyra's patterning article.virginitysaving wrote:Fine, but this discussion is dedicated to female chastity.
The only reason why I shared what I did was to make a point to Lizza that her initial outburst and ones like it in the future could be hurtful to others due to her expressed lack of tolerance. Obviously, that point was lost when I received her "shut up and be quiet" response and that's fine, it is what it is.
Intolerance is a hot button for me, as I've spent easily 40 years furthering tolerance through education, public speaking, activism, organizations and demonstrations. I long for the day where we can tolerate each other's differences, for I believe with great passion, none of us are truly free until we do.
Anyway, I am here to improve my ability in making female chastity belts. Whether my creations end up on a men, women or pumpkins, I think is kind of secondary.
Well said, Darla!
I do apologize for not investing more into the pattern making thread. I am doing some in depth analysis of ratios and such and also I am bogged down with other business related researching to do AND some online classes. Never fear, it will be completed!
Me too on the intolerance thing, Darla. Intolerance breeds all sorts of perverse future unintended consequences, so I feel it is best to nip in bud before that evil monster blossoms. However, not accepting things is very different from tolerating, sometimes people mix the two up and they are not equivocable.
I am curious about your aluminum and carbon fiber work. Would you share with me how you did that, Darla? It seems that aluminum would leach off on the body and cause a heightened aluminum toxicity. I dunno. Just from what I've read having aluminum against the body is not a good idea, like galvanized metal is not good either.
Maybe you could create an OP on exotic materials you have had success with for making chastity belts?
